City Council Votes to Lower Alberhill Election Costs About $50,000

The city council met in special session at 5pm on 2/1/2017 to consider and vote on this agenda to accomplish to goals: 1) switch the administration of the May 2nd special Alberhill election to the City of Riverside which will save the City about $50,000 over the $130,000 price tag of the private consultant approved at the 1/23/17 City Council meeting, and 2) postpone the delay of receipt of written arguments for and against the Alberhill initiative and then allow 10-days for argument rebuttals.
