For state candidates: to enable parents and families to choose enrollment in any school they approve of with state funds.

    This means absolutely no more taxes; the already large amount taken from real property owners will go toward the school of choice of parents and families. If they wish to continue using the public school system then that is their choice. California’s lack of choice has developed a monopoly that has not met the needs of children: they cannot read, calculate, or communicate adequately for adult life.

    California needs a strong public education system; it had one in the past and can have one again. Children should be taught, not taught to text – the latter has been a disaster.
