Getting Federal $$$ Returned to our District

As it seems likely that Republicans will hold the house and possibly even capture the Senate in November, wouldn't district residents be best served by returning a semi-tenured Republican congressman to congress so he can work with his Republican peers to repatriate “our fair share” of the federal tax dollars we've sent to Washington?

In addition, Calvert voted YEA on the government shutdown to the tune of $24 BILLION in taxpayer dollars. The is $76.46 for every man, woman and child in the country. The cost to the taxpayers in the 42nd Congressional District was $54,851,507!!! Congress is NOT working, and he has to take responsibility! His signs “STOP OBAMAVOTE CALVERT” lets you know he will be in the same obstructionist behavior for the next 2 years if reelected. Vote him out!

The 20-year incumbent Ken Calvert has done little to bring federal funds to the 42nd District, except those that have benefited him, or his donors, directly. With one of the highest unemployment rates in the state, he has voted NAY on incentives for solar and wind development. Here in sunny/windy So. Calif. those incentive would have created many jobs. This is just one of several areas he hasn’t been representing his constituents.
